Simply the Best HVAC company I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Some of the best customer service you will ever encounter in the field.
When you call, the phone will be answered by Brett. who is knowledgeable, friendly, and totally focused on solving your problems. So often when you call an HVAC company the person answering is a bad communicator- not so here – Brett is sharp as a tack and is actually the nephew of the guy who founded the company.
The person who came to service our R22 unit (that we were told was unfixable) was Evan, the owner of the company and the son of the founder who started Airtronics in 1973.
Being a small, family run company, allows Airtronics to make much more strategic and well-thought-out decisions than your typical run-of-the-mill repair co.
Evan was like a cross between Sherlock Holmes and House M.D. Methodically he eliminated all of the things that could've been going wrong and knocked them off one at a time with humor, empathy, honesty, intelligence, and integrity.
At the end of the day, he saved us from having to rip out and install an entirely new system which would have cost us 60 thousand dollars.
His team of workers did a fantastic follow-up job and Airtronics has got to be one of the highest recommendations I have ever made on Yelp.
They saved our asses quickly and at a fair price and we all had fun while doing it. My absolute vote of confidence. They are the BEST hands down.

I cannot recommend Airtronics more highly. I had an air-conditioning emergency in a prewar apartment with an older central air system that had been installed long ago by another company. Airtronics sent
someone immediately, and accurately diagnosed and fixed the problem. It was a complicated situation and needed some follow up.
Everything Airtronics did was necessary, excellent, and impeccably
managed.
Everyone I have spoken with or met at this company, from Brett who organized everything and coordinated all the follow up, to Billy who was the wizard technician, to Evan, the owner, who came himself to make sure that the diagnosis and follow up was correct, has been incredibly professional, very respectful of our home, and very communicative with us. They did every single thing they said they would do and did it perfectly.
I am now their customer forever. This is an excellent, excellent company.

I was introduced to Airtronics a little over two years ago. My boss was looking at a commercial space for his business and was questioning the quality of the AC unit. Not wanting to get hit with a huge expense right away we needed an inspection. I did a Google search and was turned down by many companies since we needed the unit looked at ASAP.
I found Airtronics and was put in contact with Evan. I explained the situation and he was more than willing to fit us into his schedule. Evan and his team were at the location the next morning, and their thorough report helped determine that this place would be the wrong move. We were extremely pleased with the work, so I saved their number. Throughout the long process of finding a location, I would end up calling Evan whenever we needed an AC unit checked.
Recently it was the grand opening event at my boss’s gallery. Of course, at 8 pm the night before the event, the AC decided to die. Once again, I contacted Evan, and not surprisingly even though this was very last minute and he was packed with appointments the next morning his team was there fixing the unit. This event could have been a huge disaster without a working AC unit, but thanks to Evan and his team the night was a huge success.
… Being a personal assistant, I deal with many companies in many different states and I have to say that this is by far the best experience I have ever had with a company. They know the true meaning of customer service, which is rare these days. I would recommend this company to anyone willing to listen. You won’t be disappointed.

Founded in 1973 by Michael and Linda Novack, Airtronics Air Conditioning Corp. is a third-generation family business, proudly serving Manhattan (and some surrounding areas).
With over 50 years building one of New York’s premier HVAC companies, in 2014, Mike and Linda took a well-earned back-seat, handing over the reins to their son Evan. But not before ensuring he was fully equipped to continue their family legacy. Evan had been working alongside his father for many years and spent significant time “paying his dues.” He started as a technician’s assistant in 2009 and eventually became service manager and co-owner in 2014—so it’s safe to say that he knows the business inside and out.
Since Evan took over, Airtronics has more than doubled in size and, keeping things in the family, recruited several cousins who have also gone through rigorous training programs to earn their positions within the company.
Grounded in family values, whether working with a major global brand, celebrity, or owner of a studio apartment, every interaction and every customer and their HVAC needs are treated with equal importance and attention.
